Want to feel good?

I’ll be the first to admit that my eating habits are all over the place. I literally eat what I want. In an effort to eat better, I’ll skip eating meat once or twice a meal per day. This means that I’ll be enjoying more veggie-forward meals throughout the day. I recently came across Feel Good Foods. I attended a dinner where all the appetizers passed around were from Feel Good Foods. I tried their bean and cheese taquitos, three-cheese pomodoro snack bites, vegetable egg rolls, chicken egg rolls, and vegetable potstickers. With the exception of the chicken egg rolls, all of these were vegetarian. They were also gluten-free and all-natural. Most frozen foods don’t cater to these dietary specifications, but I’m so glad to know that they exist as these are all bites I love to eat! Sometimes I can be a real snack-head. In between lunch and dinner, I’m always craving something to hold me off until my next meal. As a foodie, I prefer my food to have a lot of flavor and these chef-driven bites are my new go-to (healthy) snacks!

The dinner I attended was with none other than Yarrow’s chef Royce Burke. The three-course meal included: market stone fruit and snow pea salad, grilled local fish and yum makeua yao eggplant salad, and cherry clafoutis with candied calamansi and whipped cream.
